We live in a world of instant gratification. We want the wrinkles gone by tomorrow, the blemish gone by tonight, and the scar gone yesterday. But if there is one thing I’ve learned on my journey with ASHWATER Products Spray Moisturizer, it’s that true skin transformation takes time.
I started using our spray moisturizer in the early part of 2023, right after we finished developing it. A while back, I wrote a blog post about how much it helped heal my recent mosquito bites and a nasty burn I got from my curling iron.
But recently, I noticed something that completely blew me away—and it involved a scar I had long since given up on.
The 20-Year-Old Scar That Vanished
Way back in October of 2003, I got a chemical burn on the inside of my wrist. It left a permanent mark that I just accepted as part of my skin. Fast forward to June of 2024: I happened to look down at my arm, thought about that old burn, and took a quick photo of it. I didn't think much of it at the time and just went about my business.
Well, the other day, I looked down at my wrist again. The chemical burn was pretty much gone.
To be honest, I don't even know when it finally faded because I wasn’t paying attention—I simply had too many other things to do! What makes it even wilder is that because the burn was on the inside of my wrist, I know I didn't always hit that exact spot perfectly when spraying down after my nightly shower.

Real Health vs. Temporary Fixes
Sometimes, good things just take time. With ASHWATER Products Spray Moisturizer, your skin will absolutely feel softer and smoother after the very first use. However, over time, your skin won't just feel different—it will start to look different.
I used to tell myself that I always looked better and healthier with a slight tan, especially on my legs. To get that look, I used to lay out in the sun with zero sunscreen, experiment with self-tanners, and on occasion, even jump into a tanning bed.
Now? Now that my skin is finally getting the right kind of moisture, it looks naturally healthy all on its own, without any of those extra gimmicks. And let's be honest—at my age, I need all the help I can get!
It turns out, healthy skin is beautiful skin. You just have to give it the time and the right ingredients to do its thing.
